Prodigal Son (Luke 15) | Craft 1

This Prodigal son craft is a classic and simple enough for any age. The scene of the father running to meet his son is a beautiful reminder of God’s love for us. Prodigal Son (Luke 15) | Craft 1

Prodigal Son (Luke 15) | Craft 1 To make this craft you will need a pair of scissors, a craft knife, one printout page and a glue stick. I’d recommend either printing of stiff paper/card or mounting this one. You may want to make the raft knife slit in advance for younger groups.

Choose your template:

For printing in full colour (for those with less time or younger groups) PDF – 1 page
For printing with no colour (for those who like to colour or without colour printing) PDF – 1 page

Prodigal Son (Luke 15) | Craft 1 Cut out the three pieces – there are easy cut lines on the characters!

Prodigal Son (Luke 15) | Craft 1 If you’ve not done so already create the slit along the pathway.

Prodigal Son (Luke 15) | Craft 1 Curl the Prodigal Son slightly forward (so his fathers arms can reach round him) and stick his feet down to one end of the pathway.

Prodigal Son (Luke 15) | Craft 1 Slide the father piece through the slit.

Prodigal Son (Luke 15) | Craft 1 Move the father along the road to greet his Prodigal Son.
